  • 2015 Fun Run 4th Annual Rathcoffey GAA Fun Run 2015  In conjunction with Console, the National Suicide Charity As regular as clockwork, each new year brings the usual uninspiring coverage of new years resolutions, most of which are a distant memory by Easter.  One strategy to overcome this is to set one modest goal at a time, achieve it and move on.  The Rathcoffey Fun Run is becoming a staple fixture in the local North Kildare calendar for casual walkers and runners, and for more serious athletes in the community to reach an early new year goal. Whether you’re aiming to break the 33-minute mark for 10k or have a leisurely stroll around the 7.5k course, the Rathcoffey Fun ...

  • 2015 Membership 2015 Membership It has been decided to keep membership fees unchanged for the 2015 season.  Family membership is particularly great value at €100 for two adults and all children.  A single player membership costs €75 and an adult student player; €50.  Membership for a non-playing couple is €70 and €50 for an individual.  Senior citizens' membership costs €20 (single or couple) while social membership can be availed of at €30 (single) or €50 (couple).  The annual subscription is a significant if just one important source of revenue to maintain the club for the year ahead (maintenance, light & heat, insurance, affiliation fees, playing gear…).  The club makes every effort to keep its costs competitive and consistently looks for ways to ...

  • AGM The club’s Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday 23rd November in the clubhouse with one of the strongest attendances in a number of years. The majority of the committee was re-elected to serve for another year; however Peter McCrystal who has held the Chairman role for the past three years has stepped down, while Sean Moriarty moves from the role of Secretary to Chairman. Paddy McGovern, who has done such a wonderful job leading the club’s underage structures, has also stepped down. The club welcomes Derek Noonan to the committee in the newly created role of Football Secretary. Although there is a small army of volunteers in the club, from mentors to administrators and general dogsbodies ...

  • Recycling Week Hi all - Rathcoffey GAA is collecting clothes for recycling, from 6pm to 9pm every evening this week, from tonight, Tuesday until Friday.  All clean clothes in reusable condition will be accepted, and each kilo collected will raise €5.50 for the club.  Old smart phones and laptops will also be accepted.  Great way to de-clutter before the winter sets in, and raise money for the club at the same time. Thank you.

  • Club News for the Week Ending 5th Sept 2014 Championship ProgressAfter a league campaign in which the senior team put in several good performances which were not reflected with points on the board, the lads are now undefeated in their last four championship outings.  The replay of the quarter final against Milltown was played in Naas on Wednesday night and it was another tense affair, with a Colum Fagan goal separating the sides after 60 minutes and what felt like the longest of injury times.  The lads are playing with confidence and cohesion; their biggest test of the year awaits in the next round when we play our neighbours Straffan in the semi-final in Clane next Saturday (3pm). Straffan are being talked about as a team that ...
